Refund Policy

1. Overview

Flaresat processes all payments and subscriptions through Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, and payment processing on our behalf. By purchasing a Flaresat subscription, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to this Refund Policy.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • 30-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your subscription within the first 30 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund.
  • Service outages: If Flaresat experiences a significant service disruption that renders the platform unusable for an extended period, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund or account credit.
  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a billing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
  • Unauthorized transactions: If a charge was made without your authorization, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and issue a refund if warranted.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not provided in the following circumstances:

  • Requests made after the 30-day refund window has passed.
  • Partial months of service on monthly or annual plans after the initial 30 days.
  • Accounts terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Unused portions of an annual subscription that was voluntarily cancelled mid-term (outside of the 30-day window).

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at help@flaresat.com with the following information:

  • Your account email address.
  • The Paddle order ID or transaction reference.
  • The reason for your refund request.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Once approved, refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method and bank.

5. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund. If you cancel within the 30-day refund window, you may request a refund by following the process in Section 4. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.

6. Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect or wish to dispute a transaction, please contact us first at help@flaresat.com before filing a dispute with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated. As Paddle is our Merchant of Record, some disputes may be handled directly by Paddle in accordance with their buyer protection policies.
